A fall choral retreat sounds exciting, right? Singing. Laughing. Making memories with new friends… old friends. Eating. Some sleep. More singing. Long walks along Lake Simcoe. Gorgeous fall colours. Joyful escape to a different reality for a while. It’s what you need. It’s what we all need, especially when the weather starts to turn cold and grey.

Cantala is super excited that we are finally returning to a Fall retreat weekend. We will be going to Jackson Point, located on the southern shore of Lake Simcoe the weekend of October 13-15th.

Full disclosure: We will be rehearsing a lot.

But there will be lots of chatting and friendship making as well.

Retreat at Pioneer Village Camp- September 2019

New Beginnings

Cantala Choir and I had our first in person rehearsal in two years in February 2022 and for so many reasons, it feels like a new beginning. For one, as I re enter the world of choral music and choral programming I feel I have many new ideas and perspectives.
